Houston Ensemble Booking Policy as of January 7, 2025: Artist/Performer: Houston Ensemble Client/Host: _______________________________ Place of Engagement: _______________________________ Date of Engagement: _______________________________ Performance Time: ____________ to ____________ Load-in/Soundcheck Time: ____________ Total Fee: $____________ Deposit: $____________ (non-refundable, due within 5 business days) Balance: $____________ (due before or at start of performance) Payment Method: _______________________________ Performance & Services Houston Ensemble will perform ___ sets, each approximately ___ minutes, with standard breaks. Background music will be provided during breaks if requested. Performance attire will be “performance black” unless otherwise agreed. A wireless microphone will be made available for client use if needed. 1.) Client Responsibilities Client must provide adequate performance space, electrical power, and shelter from weather if outdoors. Client is responsible for ensuring compliance with venue rules, permits, and noise ordinances. If event insurance is required by the venue, client agrees to reimburse artist. Meals and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided if engagement exceeds 3 hours (including load-in and breakdown). Cancellation Policy Deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days before event, client remains responsible for 50% of total fee. If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before event, client remains responsible for full fee. Force Majeure Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, illness, government restrictions). In such case, deposits will be applied toward a mutually rescheduled date. Liability & Conduct Client agrees to provide a safe performance environment and assumes responsibility for audience or guest conduct. Houston Ensemble is not liable for damages, accidents, or incidents occurring at the event outside of their performance. Default & Refunds If Houston Ensemble cannot fulfill the engagement, all monies paid by client shall be refunded in full.
